Yoichi Takashashi El gran autor de manga japonés Yoichi Takahashi ha confirmado su participación en el XIX Salón del Manga de Barcelona. Nacido en Tokyo el 28 de julio de 1960, empezó a publicar el manga titulado "Captain Tsubasa" en la revista semanal "Jump" de la editorial Shueisha en 1981, que encendió el boom del fútbol en todo el Japón. Otras obras destacadas son: "Sho no densetsu (Leyenda de Sho)", "CHIBI", "ACE! ("As" en ingles"), entre otros títulos.


foto rueda de prensa.jpg The XIX Barcelona Manga Fair had its first press conference on Thursday the 4th of July, before more than thirty journalists. Participating in the event were Takashi Fuchigami, the general consul of Japan in Barcelona; Llucià Homs, Director of Cultural Industries at Barcelona City Council, Menene Gras, Culture and Exhibitions Director at Casa Asia; Antonio Vizcaíno, who designed this year’s publicity poster; Xavier Mallafré, President FICOMIC and the Editors’ Guild of Catalonia and Carles Santamaria, Director of the Barcelona Manga Fair.


Salon Manga 2013. Plano.jpg Last year the Manga Fair took a huge step by going from around 11,000 square metres at the La Farga venue inL’Hospitalet, to 17,000 at the Fira Barcelona in Montjuïc. The number of people attending the last edition exceeded all expectations, with 112,000 visitors. FICOMIC, in collaboration with Fira Barcelona, has taken the decision to double the space for the XIX Barcelona Manga Fair which is to be held from Thursday October 31st until Sunday November 3rd.
